In 1985, I started building log homes from packages supplied by several different manufacturers, then I became a sales representative for Kuhns Bros. Log Homes. I can tell you first hand that Kuhns Bros. is the finest company in the industry. No one else matches the graded and certified kiln-dried logs, the brand name components, the total package flexibility and the unparalleled customer service that takes place from the first contact to the final delivery and beyond. These are just some of the reasons why, during my tenure with the company, it has grown from a small family-owned company to a nationally recognized leader.

Our original sales model was a Kuhns Bros customized Lewisburg model overlooking the the picturesque village of Brooks, Maine. In the autumn of 2001, we completed our new model in Searsport. We took advantage of ocean views and breezes by nestling our model among some of Maine's famous tourist destinations on coastal Route 1. The dovetail log home is located only a few miles from the beautiful mid-coast communities of Camden and Belfast, and only a short drive from the downeast ports of Bar Harbor and Ellsworth.
